Mr. Murphy joined Patriot in 2012 and is responsible for financial reporting and oversight of all administrative financial matters at Patriot. Prior to joining Patriot, Mr. Murphy was a Manager in the audit and assurance department at Fesnak and Associates, LLP, focused primarily in the financial services group where he managed audit and assurance engagements to the majority of the firm’s investment companies, including, but not limited to extensive experience with private equity, venture capital, debt/mezzanine, fund of fund, master-feeder, evergreen, and SBIC fund structures.

Mr. Murphy is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Pennsylvania and holds a Bachelor of Administration degree in Accounting from the Richard J. Fox School of Business and Management at Temple University, Philadelphia.

Mr. Murphy’s professional affiliations and activities include: member of the Pennsylvania and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, member of the Private Equity CFO Association, member of the Association for Corporate Growth and the founding member of both the Philadelphia chapter of the Vision for Tomorrow Foundation committed contributors program and Aniridia Running Club. Mr. Murphy serves on the Board of Directors of Overbrook School for the Blind and the Vision for Tomorrow Foundation.
