Kelly A. Brown has over 30 years of experience in financial services. Prior to joining Patriot, Kelly was the CEO and chairman of The American Deposit Management Co. (ADM) in Pewaukee, WI, which she led to a successful exit in 2020. A true entrepreneur, she founded the company in 2009 and grew it to over $6 billion in AUM working with over 500 financial institutions nationwide.
Prior to starting ADM, Kelly founded a de Novo bank called First Wisconsin Bank & Trust Company. She led the efforts of building the bank to become one of the fastest growing banks in Wisconsin’s history, which sold for a premium in 2008. Over the years, Kelly’s leadership has earned her several honors including The Business Journal’s Woman of Influence, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Businessperson of the Year, Future 50 CEO, Business Journal’s Entrepreneur of the Year and 40 Under 40 Award. Her experience in banking includes senior leadership positions in local, regional, and national banks in divisions that include commercial lending, credit, treasury management, trust, and retail banking.
Kelly graduated Cum Laude with her BS in Management and MS In Organizational Behavior from Cardinal Stritch University, Milwaukee, WI. She also attended University of Wisconsin-Madison and Wharton Business School for Executive Education. She is a nationally recognized public speaker with clients that include Wisconsin Bankers Association, Alliance of Texas Treasury Associations, Illinois Bankers Association, Michigan Bankers Association, Minnesota Treasury Management Association, Piper Sandler, S&P Global Podcasts and the Acquire or Be Acquired Conferences, to name a few.
Kelly’s passion extends to her community as she is the founder of the Marquette University Commercial Banking Program and is a member of her local school board. She is a member of YPO Wisconsin and is active on many outside boards. Kelly is a native of Detroit, Michigan but calls Wisconsin home. Kelly is a concert violinist and spent her youth at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp and Interlochen. Although active in many things, her passion is her family and her time with them is spent most often on Okauchee Lake, WI or in Fort Myers, FL.; boating, fishing and playing golf. You’ll always find her cheering on the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers when the weather turns cold in WI.
