Mr. Silverman joined Patriot in 2023 and is responsible for model building and maintenance, due diligence for new investments, and the monitoring of existing investments. 

Prior to Patriot, Mr. Silverman served as an equity research associate for Compass Point, a full-service investment firm specializing in financial services. In this role Mr. Silverman assisted in the coverage of 20+ small-cap and mid-cap banks and thrifts. In addition to the equity coverage responsibilities, Mr. Silverman assisted in the writing and research for a weekly report discussing the banking M&A space, which was widely read by banking industry insiders as well as institutional investors. Prior to Compass Point, Mr. Silverman served as an Analyst for Chatham Financial, servicing the Financial Institutions team, where he helped advise community and regional banks on the uses of interest rate derivatives for hedging purposes.

Mr. Silverman earned an M.S. in Financial Analysis from Temple University in 2019 and a B.B.A. in Finance from James Madison University in 2018.
